This beautiful antique watch is a tremendous example of workmanship from the Edwardian period. The watch face features solid gold embossing in yellow, gold and pink gold on a rose gold background. the motif includes flowers, a bird and ribbons. The similar design on the back side includes an empty space for engraving of initials. The watch opens with a push down mechanism. It features two dials- one for hour and minutes and one for seconds. The watch is made by Elgin, famous for high quality craftsmanship of watches in the time. The back of the case opens to reveal that the watch was gifted to a person named Blanche on Christmas in 1904. The watch is in working condition. It measures just under 1 5/8" in diameter. The watch itself is crafted with rolled gold plate. It weighs 59.48g.
