Vintage Old European Cut and Sapphire Engraved Engagement Wedding Ring in 18k White Gold

This striking and bold ring is a lovely example of later Deco period jewelry.  The ring features a center Old European cut diamond measuring 0.55ct (5.2mm).  The stone has VS clarity and is a G color by GIA standards.  The center diamond is held with prongs but sits in a square frame.  The frame is highlight by a triangular synthetic sapphire on each side, totaling 0.16cttw.  The ring has lovely engraving detail on the front and back of the shank and appears to have been plated yellow gold at one point in its mysterious history.  It is crafted in solid 18k white gold (stamped and tested) and weighs 7.03g.  It is currently a size 7 and can be resized before shipment for a fee, please ask before placing your order.
