Victorian GIA Certified Royal Blue Sapphire and Old Cut Diamond Ring in 14k Yellow Gold

This lovely Victorian ring, perfectly suitable as an engagement or right hand ring, features a stunning Royal Blue GIA certified sapphire at the center.  As you might expect with a ring 150 years old there are some fine abrasions on the table of the sapphire but the ring is in otherwise remarkable shape for its age.  The stone measures 6.06 x 5.70 x 4.54mm (estimated weight is 1.25ct) and is natural, untreated.  The sapphire is highlighted in a bypass design by two bezel set Old European cut diamonds and on the shanks there are four additional old cut diamonds on either side, for an estimated total of 0.36cttw.  These are bright near colorless diamonds.  The ring has a great low profile so it is perfect for every day wear.  From front to back it measures 10.79mm.  The ring acid tests between 14k and 18k and weighs 4.00g.  The ring is a size 7 and can be resized before shipping, please message us with your size for a quote.
