Incredible Art Deco Shield Ring with Old European Cut Diamonds and Sapphires in 18k White Gold

This stunning style is often called a shield ring, given its shape and spread.   This one is particularly notable for the incredible filigree and piercing detail which remain intact since its crafting in the Art Deco period.  Beautifully balanced, the ring features natural diamonds and sapphires.  The diamonds are chunky Old European diamonds and there are five of them, measuring about 2.5mm each, totaling approximately 0.42cttw.  The sapphires, unusually, are natural and measure about 2.6mm, totaling approximately 0.18cttw.  We think this could make a really cool alternative engagement ring and its certainly perfect for a right hand!  From front to back it measures 18.42mm and has a very low profile.  The ring is crafted in 18k white gold and weighs 3.46g.  It is currently a size 6.5 an can be resized before shipping for a fee, please ask for a quote in your size.
