Renaissance Style Garnet Statement RIng in 18k Yellow Gold

This bold beauty features a style that has stood the test of time and still delights today.  The ring features an overall rectangular design with a center oval cut garnet, held with twelve prongs.  The garnet measures approximately 8mm x 6mm, calculating to approximately 1.50cttw.  The stone is surrounded by intricate and textured piercing work, creating a frame in gold.  The frame is lined with small round garnets which are prong set at the outer edge.  The outer garnet measure 2.3mm, totaling 1.10cttw.  The band is pinched at the top and widens at the base.  The band has dulled and can be polished to a high polish finish.  The ring measures just under 3/4" in length and is just under 5/8" across in width.  It is crafted in 18k yellow gold and weighs 8.68g.  The ring is currently a size 7 and can be resized before shipment for a fee, please ask for a quote in your size before placing your order.
