Charming Antique Victorian Old Mine Cut Diamond Locket in 14k Yellow Gold

I so wish we could know the history of pieces like this!  The locket features detailed mill grain work and a center Old Mine Cut diamond.  The stone measures just over 3mm in diameter.  Please note that the back of the locket has lots of small dents and there is one tiny dent on the front bottom.  They do not change the overall shape or function of the piece.  The chain is not included.  This locket is crafted in beautiful bloomed 14k yellow gold and weighs 4.32g.  The locket measures just over 1 1/4" including the bail.  It is 3/4" across in width and the locket open and closes tightly.  The chain is not included.
