As you might expect with a ring 150 years old there are some fine abrasions on the table of the sapphire but the ring is in otherwise remarkable shape for its age. The stone measures 6.06 x 5.70 x 4.54mm (estimated weight is 1.25ct) and is natural, untreated. The sapphire is highlighted in a bypass design by two bezel set Old European cut diamonds and on the shanks there are four additional old cut diamonds on either side, for an estimated total of 0.36cttw. These are bright near colorless diamonds. The ring has a great low profile so it is perfect for every day wear. From front to back it measures 10.79mm. Vintage Button Pearl and Old Mine Cut Diamond Halo Ring in 14k Yellow Gold

This is a gorgeous, rich sparkly piece with as clear nod to earlier times. The stones, all original and antique, were reset in the 90s into this current ring which is thicker and much sturdier than the original, based on photos we saw. From side to side the ring measures just shy of 17mm so it covers most of the finger. We think this would make a really unique engagement ring and its certainly a right hand stunner if not! The pearl measures just over 11mm in width and is a creamy ivory color with slight pinkish overtones. There are some natural ridges towards the bottom of the pearl. The sparkling diamonds are all Old Mine cut diamonds which measure about 3.3mm each, translating to about .14cttw each. This bright sparkling low profile ring packs a punch! The ring features a center round brilliant cut diamond held with prongs. The stone measures about 4.7mm. The center is surrounded with varying sizes of additional round brilliant cut diamonds in a star or flower pattern. In all, there are 15 diamonds totaling an estimated 2.20cttw. The diamonds are very bright white G/H color and all are eye clean. The diamonds are an average of VS2 or better with only 1 stone at an SI1. They have excellent cuts and it shows. From the front to the back the ring measures 13.61mm. Hearts on Fire is a brand of diamonds that have excellent cuts and are known for exemplary dispersion.
