Delightful 1.76ctw Natural Purple Sapphire Ruby & Diamond Ring 18k Size 6.75

This is an amazingly detailed and beautiful ruby ring. The color of the stone is a rich purplish red ruby/sapphire. It really sits on the line of being a ruby vs. sapphire because it has dominant hues of red and purple. It has great sparkle and flashes of red and blue can be seen. The setting on this ring is incredible- it was designed and cast in wax by hand. The center stone is held with four prongs that split into two at the top. The stone is immediately flanked by small round stones pave set into a small triangular shape. This beautiful ring features a 1.18ct natural, strongly purplish red ruby. The stone is held with four double prongs and it is flanked by two round diamonds set in triangle shapes with mill grain detail. A rounded marquise shape laying east/west frames the center details. The shanks are made in a micropave style with the band having dimension coming to a soft mill grain ridge in the middle then smoothing to a smooth high polished band. The diamonds reach halfway down the shank. There is also a special surprise under the center setting in the under gallery: a small upside down curve encrusted with diamonds gently hugs the top of the finger. This is the kind of special detail that can be seen when a ring is made by hand. The total diamond weight is .58ctw and the color and clarity are F/G, VS2.
