Antique Victorian Gold Nugget Over 14k Crescent Moon Brooch with C Clasp

This bold piece brings back the excitement of the Gold Rush and the fantastic nugget jewelry created during that time.  This brooch is crafted in the shape of a crescent moon, with a backing in 14k gold.  The top is sprinkled generously with lumps of natural gold.  The brooch measures 2" in length from point to point.  The width in the center is about 3/8".  The brooch weighs 9.92g.
