Exquisite Edwardian Old European Cut Diamond and Ruby Butterfly Brooch Pin in Platinum & 14k Gold

The lacy curves of this exquisite Edwardian butterfly are breathtaking.  This delicate yet bold creature features two bezel set ruby eyes and is encrusted with fully cut Old European cut diamonds (no single cuts) set in platinum topped yellow gold.  The bezel set diamond at the center of the body measures about 3.7mm or 0.17ct.  The total carat weight is estimated to be about 0.60cttw.  These stones are bright white and loupe clean.  In regards to size, the butterfly measures 1.5" tall and is 1 7/8" across at the top.  She weighs 10.00g.
